# Media in whatsapp

**What are the media file size limits?**

The maximum file upload size is 64 MB, which means this limit also applies to any image, document, or media you send with a message.

**What media are currently supported in whatsapp?**

Currently Whatsapp supports docs,PDFs,images and audio files.

**How can I send images as an album?**

When sending images from the WhatsApp Business API, you will need to send at least 4 images in succession. If user's conversation view is currently active when the images are received, then album view is unavailable until next visit.

An album will not be created if any of the following are met:

1. Images with captions
2. Unread divider - user sees some images, but not the rest
3. Message from user or other participants if group only
4. Date header - new day between deliveries

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://wadocs.pepipost.com/faqs/media-in-whatsapp.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
